LOFGREN is the chief of the Historical Support Branch, Histories Division, U.S. Army Center of Military History. He joined the Center in 1987, and his work has focused on the history of the Headquarters, Department of the Army. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont as well as the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and the U.S. Army Management Staff College.
