His book tells the history of the New York regiment through the eyes of the men who lived, marched, and fought together during the Civil War as told in their letters and diaries. Presently a practicing clinical social worker specializing in adolescent and adult psychotherapy, David maintains the love of history revealed in first person accounts of those who lived rich lives in the past.
