Overview

北美洛杉磯華文作家協會2018年文集《作家之家》是今年文友們努力筆耕的碩果。本文集收錄了會員文友們的作品約20萬字，分成八卷： 卷一〈特邀作品〉2篇，卷二〈散文〉45篇，卷三〈論述〉5篇，卷四〈詩歌〉5篇，卷五〈意外驚喜〉16篇，卷六〈會務報導〉10篇，卷七〈特別報導〉3篇，卷八〈回顧2015－2019〉1篇，〈附錄〉本會會史、章程與會員名錄。照片涵蓋本會四年來的大小活動，及歷年來出版之會刊、文集。今年的《作家之家》可説是圖文並茂、色彩繽紛！ 一九九二年秋，北美洛杉磯華文作家協會（NACWALA）成立於扼守美西大門的洛杉磯，是全球擁有華人和過往華人最多的海外城市。洛城作協的文友們本著以文會友、以友輔仁、相互合作、相互切磋的精神，和本身對文學的愛好與執著，人人都為這個大家庭貢獻心智，出錢出力。二十多年來，除了舉辦過無數次文學演講、座談、會員新書發表、節慶聯歡會等一般性的傳統活動外，還與《世界日報》圖書部合辦圖書大展，贈書僑教中心，每年出版會刊《洛城作家》、《會員文集》、《作家之家》等等，於世界華文創作中佔有一席之地。
