Overview

Karl Boyle, a quadriplegic man is given a chance at a new normal life. However, it will not be as Karl Boyle. He will have to undergo a brain transplant and become another person. Karl isn't even sure that it will work, but if they kill him, what difference does it make. When they get a donor body for him it isn't what he expected. To have a new life it will have to be as a female. He accepts and becomes a young woman of twenty-five, determined to come to terms with her new identity and find happiness. She finds a man and starts to fall in love. When everything was going so well a friend of the donor's family recognized her. After a period, she accepts the donor's family as her own. She learns of the donor's early life up until she ran away from home at eighteen. There are now only the six lost years that she knows nothing about. Life is complete until events demand that she finds out what happened during those six lost years.
