OverviewThe wafer-thin petals and an underglaze colour palette with the finest nuances enabled the Rörstrand porcelain factory's brilliant performances at the International Expositions in Paris in 1900 and in St Louis in 1904. The success was based on Rörstrand's cooperation with the painter Alf Wallander, who combined underglaze painting with modelling characterised by openings. Each object was unique and modelled by hand.
