OverviewThis book highlights the Kadimo Ancestors who lived and survived the Tse-tsefly and Mosquito onslaught at the shores of Lake Victoria. It gives a brief bio of each member, dead and those living aged upto 70 years (ie youngest documented are those born 1095).. it is the first in a series of an ongoing work, which we hope to accomplish once we document all Yimbo-Kadimo Elders from all the 55 clans. We have started with 100 elders of the Kadimo lineage. We are also in the process of collecting for Karodi (through Mwalimu Ochieng' Ongech) and Kowil (through Japuonj Wycliffe Jwenge)...John Otieno Ombewa....and the process continues. the idea is to make our current youngsters and the coming generations to put a hand on word about their ancestor, and stop the idea of knowing the ancestors of other foreign personalities ...up to their grandchildren, when we don't even know about our own. This lack of documentation of the African ancestors has left a major information gap which has given rise to a lot of useless garbage literature being given to our children to read...in the name of a curriculum. As such, we have ended up knowing too much about nothing. we need to settle back to settle, go back to our bases and get to be practical...to be able to prepare ourselves for a sustainable future.
