Reviews

Only great love and learning can produce this work of homage to one of the great pioneers of Hindu-Christian dialogue. Vagneux systematically lifts up central concepts and ideas of Jules Monchanin and puts them into context, thus revealing their continuity with a long philosophical and theological tradition, as well as their originality. This book is a deep and inspiring meditation on the development of Monchanin’s philosophy during his years in India. * Catherine Cornille, Boston College, USA *
