He spent his days cataloging the deeds of heroes, local affairs, and advancements in magic, dreaming of discovering something new but sadly content to be a cog in the background of history. He believed the world was ordered and safe. He was wrong. In a single moment, many of the moons changed in inexplicable ways before vanishing. The shields protecting the city shattered.
