In this volume, the new world species of the ant genus Pachycondyla are revised. Species complexes are defined for the New World species. Identification keys, descriptions and distribution maps, together with notes on the habitats and biology of the species are included. It covers 92 species: 30 new to science and 5 new status classifications. Key for the identification of species is in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
