Overview

For over five decades, Samuel Hazo has taught his readers about literature and life with generosity and awareness, taking everyday experiences and translating them into songs at once familiar and surprising. Samuel Hazo is the McAnulty Professor of English emeritus at Duquesne University. He is the author of more than thirty books of poetry, fiction, essays, and plays, and is the founder and director of the International Poetry Forum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
