Author Information

Born in 1959, one of nine children, nature has always been a constant for David. He spent his career as a conservation forester, undoubtedly influenced by a deep love for the outdoors. When not working to protect woodlands, he can be found telling stories to his three young girls, aged 12, 9 and 7. David s practical skills extend beyond forestry, as a certified instructor, assessor in forestry operations. Despite a non-academic background, he possesses a remarkable vocabulary and a vivid imagination, perhaps fuelled by countless hours spent exploring untamed landscapes.
