Overview

MIND-BENDING EVIDENCE THAT WILL CHALLENGE SKEPTICS AND BELIEVERS ALIKE Every now and then, we all have experiences that seem too meaningful to be chance but that we can't explain in any normal way. Now, philosopher Sharon Hewitt Rawlette tackles some of the hardest questions surrounding such ""coincidences"" How can we tell whether a coincidence is too improbable to be just chance? Is there any hard evidence that coincidences convey genuine messages from God or our deceased loved ones? Do ordinary people have the psychic ability to create coincidences, for themselves or others? Why do coincidences sometimes harm or deceive? Rawlette brings together an immense body of research and personal experience that clearly points to a meaningful reality beyond the bounds of current science and at the same time demonstrates both the promise and peril of interpreting coincidences as signs from above. Rigorously paradigm-shattering, this volume will leave skeptics and believers alike ruminating for years to come.

Reviews

Ground-breaking and one of a kind...marrying science and research with jaw-dropping anecdotes and personal accounts that will leave the reader in absolutely no doubt that the phenomenon of significant coincidence is, in fact, a real and shared experience of human beings across the globe. - DR. MARY HELEN HENSLEY, author of Promised by Heaven and Understanding Is the New Healing Thumbs up for this readable, scholarly exploration of the mysteries of coincidence, synchronicity, consciousness, dreams, visions, intuition, and the secret messages of a seemingly beneficent universe. Raising as many questions as it answers, this is a 'must-read' for anyone who has ever pondered her path or the meaning of life. - SOPHY BURNHAM, author of The Art of Intuition and A Book of Angels Elegantly written, thorough, sophisticated, and nuanced...accessible to the layperson and also substantive enough for veteran researchers. Rawlette provides an unusually extensive collection of fascinating case material as well as penetrating discussions of relevant and important theoretical issues. An enjoyable and illuminating read! - STEPHEN E. BRAUDE, PhD, Emeritus Professor of Philosophy at University of Maryland Baltimore County, author of Crimes of Reason and The Gold Leaf Lady
