Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationNeusa Serra is a Professor at the Centro de Engenharia, Modelagem e Ciencias Sociais Aplicadas of the Federal University of ABC, Brazil, where her teaching concentrates on public policies and sustainability. She coordinated the project Solidarity Economy of Culture and Cultural Citizenship in partnership with the Instituto Polis. She has published several essays and book chapters on technology, ecology and sustainability, creative economies, the solidarity economy, and public policies. Hamilton Faria is a poet and university professor. He taught at the Catholic University of Sao Paulo and at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado, Brazil, and was the co-founder, co-organizer, and later President and Director of the Instituto Polis, an NGO created in 1987 to focus on urban policies. He specializes in the politics of culture, and has published numerous books and essays on the culture of Brazil and other countries, in addition to more than a dozen poetry books. In 2006, he was the recipient of an award from the Academy of Arts, Sciences and Letters of France.Eva Paulino Bueno has published essays on Brazilian literature, theater and cinema, women's studies, Latin American literature and popular culture. Her publications include Resisting Boundaries; Imagination Beyond Nation; Mazzaropi, o artista do povo; The Woman in Latin American and Spanish Literature; Naming the Father; and Latin American Women Writers, an Encyclopedia. Her most recent book is the co-edited Brazilian Theater (1970-2010). She teaches Spanish and Portuguese at St. Mary's University in Texas, and serves on the editorial boards of several magazines in Brazil and the USA.
