Reviews

""This prolific author’s magisterial breadth of knowledge produces an overview of sociology of emotions at once extensive and concise. An up-to-date, indispensable resource for students and researchers."" Catherine M. Roach, University of Alabama “As well as demonstrating the richness of emotions analysis, by drawing on distinct broad perspectives, Ann Brooks shows how the social world and everyday lives are illuminated through a 21st century sociology of emotions. This is a book that is easy to read but hard to put down.” Jack Barbalet, Australian Catholic University
