The book by Dolinski and Grzyb ""Social Psychology of Obedience towards Authority"" is a comprehensive, systematic, and significant contribution to the understanding of this behavior. On the basis of the seminal studies of Stanley Milgram, who began the journey of investigating obedience in the laboratory, Dolinski and Grzyb continued this line of research to reveal its nature and conditions in order to expand our knowledge about its implications and ramifications. Dariusz Dolinski is Professor at the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Poland. He is editor of the Polish Psychological Bulletin, past President of the Polish Association of Social Psychology, and the Committee for Psychology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Tomasz Grzyb is Professor at the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Poland. He is currently serving as President of the Polish Society for Social Psychology. He is a visiting lecturer in the NATO School Oberammergau in Germany and the Multinational Peace Support Operation Training Centre in Kilkis, Greece.
