William Deegan is semi-retired but keeps youthful through his grandchildren. He works for a not-for-profit community interest company as part of a team of people dedicated to supporting young adults from education to employment. It brings him limitless enjoyment watching young adults start their careers in jobs they love. He was inspired to create The Shoppa Squad by his grandchildren, as they have a fascination for autonomous delivery robots. They love spotting them in their local town, using them to deliver food, and wondering at the adventures and journeys they have taken to get to our doorstep. These stories aim to build a lasting affinity with these robots who will become a stable part of our children's and grandchildren's future.
