Overview

Tired, yearning for home, and still in search of the answers he needs to complete his mission, Vallus the Seeker finds himself in the massive city of Midra, a pre-Fall city built into a settlement and basked in the shadow of a lone mountain. But the city's wonders hide terror, as do the depths of its vault, CS-0226. Soon, the Seeker finds himself-along with his steadfast companion drone Pip-called upon to delve into the depths of the vault on a perilous search-and-rescue mission. But the deeper he goes, the more complicated his quest becomes. Forced to protect a young Seeker-in-training, faced with the perils of a functioning vault, and opposed by a bitter foe unlike any the Seeker has ever faced, Vallus must overcome monumental odds to defeat the deadly Knights of Scoria and put a stop to the dark plot that brews deep beneath the city. Everything is at stake; Vallus' mission, the city of Midra, and perhaps even the fate of everything else.
