Overview

This Breviary is compiled for all who love the worship of our Holy Lord, and who desire to sing the ancient liturgies and Psalter in the plainchant settings. The goal was to make these liturgical treasures accessible to the average musical congregant, choir member, and service leader, in the hopes of creating a supplementary worship book for private or corporate services. Sources used included various editions of the American and British Anglican books of common prayer, the Liber usualis, Winfred Douglas's Psalter and Canticle collections; and the chant transcriptions of musicologist, Hendrik Van der Werf.
