Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationBiography of Al Jacobs An entrepreneur for nearly a half-century, Al Jacobs holds a civil engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a Certificate in Real Estate from the University of California Berkeley, and the designation Certified Property Manager (CPM) from the Institute of Real Estate Management. His investment background encompasses real estate, mortgage loans and corporate securities. An advocate of lifelong learning, he has completed innumerable professional courses including accounting, law, insurance and taxation. In 1968 he co-founded a Beverly Hills-based management and investment company, and as its president controlled properties across the country. His varied experiences have included contract oversight on the construction of a Naval missile facility, tax return preparation with the national accounting firm of Touche Ross, real estate appraisal for the General Motors Corporation, presentation of investment seminars for prominent author William Nickerson, service as a superior court Receiver, and organization and operation of a private trust company. Since 1978 he has conducted his personal investments from Orange County, California.
