OverviewEmbark on a profound exploration of the emergence of women as leaders in Egypt through this qualitative phenomenological study. The purpose of this research is to elucidate and understand the factors contributing to the rise of women in leadership roles in both the public and private sectors. The study engages with the participants' perceptions and experiences, unraveling the nuanced facets that shape women's leadership journeys in the Egyptian context. The carefully selected participants, women in leadership roles, underwent in-depth interviews conducted twice over a span of six months. By adopting a phenomenological approach, the study delves into how these women perceive and navigate the conditions that lead to their leadership roles. Moreover, the research seeks to address the prevalent lack of women in managerial and leadership positions in Egypt, exploring factors that contribute to this gap.
