Overview

Fleeing an abusive relationship and in search of her estranged family, Jessica Chase finds herself in San Francisco. When her former lover, a con-man named Felix Rodgers, follows her and she learns that her uncle's life is in danger, Jessica knows it is time to stop running and take action. Together with her brother, she forms a team and sets in motion a heist that becomes a race against the clock to end the threat from Felix once and for all. Set against the backdrop of Victorian San Francisco and filled with colorful characters, The Resurrectionists follows along as a group of individuals become a team and work together to rescue a man buried alive, and to find a sense of belonging with each other.

Author Information

A storyteller since childhood, Stephanie M. Braun began crafting her stories at the dinner table. The middle child of a large family, she relished this opportunity to relay every minute of her day to her captive audience. These days stories remain a major part of her life, as she aims to write adventures that center on connection and found family. When not writing, she can be found hiking through the Middle Tennessee woods, looking for the magical in the mundane, and seeking to be brave every day. She and her husband and children live in Nashville, Tennessee with their dogs, Chaucer and Elwood. Their home is filled with creativity, lots of dinnertime storytelling, and never quite enough houseplants.
