Overview

That belongs in a museum! Julius Strathclyde has been dragged through to an alternative earth. Now, training as a quantum curator, every ancient book, every stolen gem, and every lost masterpiece lies at his fingertips. It's incredible. But he has some problems; he can't get home, priceless artefacts are being stolen, and someone is trying to kill him. Oh, and he can't get a decent cup of tea anywhere. Following the disastrous Faberg assignment, Neith Salah is blinded by grief and rage. She's hardly a stable companion, but she's the only one he trusts. From the Titanic to the Blitz and through Medieval France, they race to save treasures and their own skins. As their unknown enemies draw closer, can they stay alive and reveal who is behind the looting of the museum?

Author Information

"Like the best of us, Eva St. John is a construct. A moving feast of many parts, most of those parts involve gin, science fiction and falling over her dogs. Favorite authors: Iain M Banks. Ann Leckie. Genevieve Cogman. Terry Pratchett. Nick Harkaway.* Favorite shows: Doctor Who. Indiana Jones. National Treasure. Star Trek. Black Mirror. Firefly.* Favorite food: Everything. Not a fan of offal or ice cream. Favorite drink: Milk. Followed by a willingness to drink anything. Except Ouzo. Or tea. *This list is forever changing and only represents the current top of her head. Lucy Rayner is an award-winning British actress. Bitten hard by the acting bug whilst performing at the Edinburgh Festival as a teenager, she has gone on to work on both sides of the Atlantic in a number of theater productions and films, many of which have screened at festivals around the world. She loves to tell stories and voice characters in a number of British regional accents and has narrated many wonderful audiobooks. She has a master's degree in history from the University of Edinburgh and is a graduate of the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City. An Oxford University and Royal Academy of Dramatic Art graduate, Alex Wyndham has voiced everything from Apple iPad campaigns to fertilizer instructions. He's also starred in several BBC and HBO shows, including the Emmy Award-winning Little Dorrit and Rome, and in various films. In its review of his narration of The Strangler Vine, the Washington Post described him as ""brilliant at summoning up the personalities in this exotic, exciting tale."" Romantic Historical Reviews writes that he is a ""wonderful narrator"" and ""has an ability to get to the emotional heart of both story and characters."""
