She has written extensively over a range of topics, including child care, child protection and critical psychology, particularly critical health psychology. She has a growing interest in theory, and is on the editorial board of Theory and Psychology. Rex Stainton Rogers was, until his death in 1999, a lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of Reading. His publications and research were very wide ranging within the field of critical psychology.
