OverviewThe year is 1936, and a local postman's corpse is found outside a Catholic church in the Shanghai International Settlement. The corpse is Zhongliang's father, and this day marks the end of his life as he knows it. In the wake of the Sino-Japanese War, he decides to follow in his father's footsteps and find out the truth about his death by becoming a postman himself.
