She is the founder and a past Executive Director of the Susquehanna Art Museum in Harrisburg, PA. As the sole American involved with Russian counterparts, she co-founded the first two private schools in the former USSR in Moscow in 1988 and 1991. She has served on a number of local and state boards including the Executive Council for the PA Art Education Association where she chaired an annual statewide conference and administrated PA's Youth in Art Month. She is a past recipient of the Outstanding PA Art Educator Award. She is a ruling Elder in her church, a past Admissions Representative, Art Educator, and District-wide Art Supervisor/Administrator.
