Overview
This book combines three collections of paintings from 200, 2012 and 2024, accompanied by an ephemeral collection of writing about the city and the university. It is an insider's view, in which the pictures reveal not just Oxford's famous colleges and quadrangles, but its hidden streets, corners and gardens, at all times of day and throughout the seasons. It is the first illustrated book that is not simply a tourist guide, nor a learned history of the city, but a refreshing viewpoint of a town that is loved by all who study, visit or work there. It is the perfect gift book for anyone interested in Oxford.
