Author Information

David Fontana is professor of Educational Psychology at the Universities of Minho and of Algarve, Portugal. He is also Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the University of Wales in Cardiff. His teaching interest include psychotherapy, stress management, transpersonal psychology, meditation, Eastern religions, Gnostic traditions, parapsychology and dreams. Books include: The Elements of Meditation, The Secret Language of Symbols, The Meditator's Handbook, Learn to Meditate, The Secret Language of Dreams, Growing Together, and The Lotus in the City. Currently Chair of the British Psychological Society Transpersonal Psychology Section and a Council member of the British Psychological Society.
