Author Information

I am Leonard P. Pomfret, the Author of The Nanjing Princess and the son of the main character. I am an American who served 20 years in the US Air Force as a Security Policeman. I also worked for the State of California in Law Enforcement. I enjoy writing and I always feel at ease when I write. This book took me 15 years to complete, because I wanted to make sure that it was done right. This story made me appreciate my mother even more. It was hard to write this story because it is so sad. I found that this is a story that needed to be told.
