Reviews

"""The Mysterious Fence beautifully presents important and deep truths about God in a way that is easy for children to understand. Though we cannot see God, He is always at work around us. The bright illustrations and engaging story line will capture the heart and attention of readers. Children and parents alike will be encouraged to consider how our great, invisible God is present and working, though we cannot see him with our eyes."" -Dinisha Fether, Lower School Principal at Roanoke Valley Christian School ""I love how the story develops from an innocent fun little game of 'I Spy' to the 'spying' of a sign that catches the child's interest to an in-depth analogy for God and His presence. Fun and informative all at the same time, with an invitation to get to know the God of the Universe in a personal way."" -Marlene Ferreira, Author, The Great I Am and I ""This book makes a good parallel between the invisible fence and the invisible God. Both, though invisible, are very powerful and able to protect us. I love the illustrations and the people featured. We see people from different backgrounds and races, which depicts most American neighborhoods today."" -Sophia Boateng, FNP-BC, Houston, Texas ""Deuteronomy 6:7 says to teach God's commands to your children as you sit at home or walk along the road. In The Invisible Fence, Jane Asamoah once again uses the warm and loving interaction between a mother and son to teach the invisible attributes of God in a natural way while taking a walk through the neighborhood. This book is colorfully illustrated and full of truth about our loving Lord."" -Lila Register, known as ""Lollie"" to her five grandchildren"

Author Information

"Jane E. Asamoah was born and raised in Ghana, West Africa. She lives in Roanoke, Virginia, with her husband and their three precious boys. She is the author of My Mommy's Name Is Mommy, God's Unblinkable Eyes, and was featured in the anthology The Breaking Point by Paulette Harper. Serving as a children's supervisor for Bible Study Fellowship, her heart is to encourage parents to be intentional about helping their children understand God's Word. The Bible instructs parents not to keep God's Word to themselves but to tell it to their children so that they in turn will tell it to their own children and enable the next generation to know God (Ps. 78:1-8). Patrick Noze was born in Haiti in the province of Jeremie, 'City of Poets.' He is a third generation sculptor and painter. ""I am always thinking about the wonders of the world from its simplest to its most complex shapes. To my eyes, the world is a large canvas. Everything I see, dream, or encounter, I use as an inspiration for my work."" He attended Pratt Institute, School of Art and Science. He is presently very involved in his community and serves on a voluntary basis on the Advisory Council for Art in Cultural Affairs. He lives in Orange County, Florida, with his family.
