Laurie Notaro is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the novels Crossing the Horizon, Spooky Little Girl, and There’s a (Slight) Chance I Might Be Going to Hell, as well as essay collections and numerous works of nonfiction. A finalist for the Thurber Prize, Laurie was born in Brooklyn, New York, and spent the remainder of her formative years in Phoenix, Arizona, where she created something of a checkered past.
