Over the next three weeks, you will learn how you can transform your life just by looking at yourself in the mirror. The mirror technique - which involves looking deep into your eyes while repeating affirmations - is the most effective method I have found to learn to love yourself and see the world as a safe and welcoming place. I have been teaching people how to apply the mirror technique for as long as I have been teaching affirmations. In other words, everything we say and everything we think is an affirmation. All your inner speech is a series of affirmations. These affirmations are messages that are sent to your subconscious mind that set up patterns of thought and behavior. Positive affirmations implant thoughts and ideas that will help you build your confidence and self-esteem and promote peace of mind and inner joy. By learning the mirror technique, you will become more aware of the words you say and the behaviors you adopt. You will learn to take care of yourself on a deeper level than you have so far. When something good happens in your life, you can stand in front of the mirror and say, Thank you, thank you. It's great ! I thank you for that. If something untoward happens to you, you can go to the mirror and say, Okay, I love you. What happened will eventually pass, but I will love you anyway and forever.
