Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationJoseph Smith Fletcher was an English journalist and author. He wrote more than 230 books on a wide variety of subjects, both fiction and non-fiction, and was one of the most prolific English writers of detective fiction during the Golden Age of Detective Fiction, which earned him the sobriquet ‘The Dean of Mystery Writers’ and is best known for The Middle Temple Murder (1919) which served as the basic template for writing detective fiction novels; though his writings did not conform to the formulae professed by the Golden Age writers. He married the Irish writer Rosamond Langbridge in 1927 and died in Surrey 1935, one week short of his 72nd birthday. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
