Overview

This book presents the sayings of Paul the Apostle and Jesus. You will discover that: -Paul, a Jewish cleric, never met Jesus.-After Jesus died, Paul persecuted Jesus' followers because he found Jesus' gospel (core message) to be a threat to Judaism. -Today, few know what Jesus taught that was such a threat; therefore, they do not know how to follow Jesus! -To hide Jesus' message, Paul did not quote Jesus and created Christianity in Jesus' name.-Paul taught that people are saved by believing both in Jesus as the divine Christ presence, and by believing in dogmas, such as Jesus rose from the dead. -In contrast, Jesus' mission was to substitute all dogma-based religions with an alternative way that everyone could live without conflict. -Jesus did not teach that he was the only son of God. Instead he preached both that he and everyone else is core-divine, and that one would be personally and spiritually fulfilled to the degree they he lived his real self.-Jesus would not endorse Christianity nor any dogma-based religious system. -Jesus was a therapist who taught people to leave their false selves and find personal fulfilment in any situation by being their real selves. -Paul was a theologian who taught people to think that they grew personally and were saved eternally because they believed in his theology.-Jesus said that one becomes fulfilled through love, not by believing in religious dogmas.-Jesus died because he challenged Jewish and Roman religions, and he would be threatened today for challenging all religions.-Jesus will fulfill the Messianic prophesies when everyone adopts his up-until-now unknown, revolutionary Way that will unite the world. Review I was raised in a strict Baptist (fundamental Christian) environment. There, clergy and my parents taught me what to believe and how to act. In my Ph.D. Counseling program, I learned to develop myself with only responsible regard for what others believed or how they acted. Instead, professors taught me how to become independently more in love with myself and others.Then, I met Robert North and read his book, The Messiah's Unrealized Revolution. In it, he extensively quotes Jesus and Paul the Apostle. I was surprised to learn that Paul fit perfectly with my Baptist upbringing, and Jesus would have been an excellent instructor in my Counseling program.I highly recommend this book to those who are open to Jesus as a therapist and not as a theologian. He taught a highly developed, extraordinarily insightful, seemingly unknown theory of personal development that goes beyond that enunciated by people like Freud, Jung, Maslow, Rogers, and other mental health practitioners. Author Information

Robert North was a former member of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). There he was educated in the classics, history, the humanities, and philosophy. After he left that order of priests and brothers, he earned a Ph.D. in Counseling at the University of Florida. While working in several colleges and universities, he continued the scripture scholarship that he began as a Jesuit. His focus has been on discovering the Semitic Principles used by the authors of the Bible and the Gospel of Thomas to organize their works.
