Reviews

The book contains many interesting arguments. It raises important challenges that need to be answered by defenders of the infringement model if they are to hold onto their view. And while some complain that contemporary work on self-defence and just war theory is a little shallow, resting on too much of an appeal to mere intuitions about cases, it is more difficult to raise this complaint with Walen's book. * Joseph Bowen, Criminal Law and Philosophy *
