Marian McMahon Stanley is a writer of mystery novels as well as a number of short stories and essays. Her most recent book is THE MARIPOSA CIRCLE-a thriller set in Boston and Pittsburgh. Before turning to writing mysteries, Marian had two different long and satisfying careers: the first in a Fortune 500 corporation with significant international responsibilities and the second in a senior role for a large urban university. Marian lives and writes in a small historic town west of Boston near extended family. Just as in her mysteries, she has a faithful Westie canine companion named Archie.
