Overview

Black magic is forbidden in the country of Alveraada. When Rose Crawford accidentally discovers that she has healing powers, she knows she must hide them, even from her own family. The next day, her family disappears. The only clue is a note addressed to ""the girl with magical, green eyes,"" and signed with a ragged X. After finding a trail of glowing X's just like the signature, Rose sets off to find her family. On the way, she stumbles across a mysterious boy who tells her about magical eyes, evil wolves, and a group of people called Volcaniacs who live in The End. Will Rose be able to find and save her family in time, or will the wolves catch her first? And what exactly do her eyes and newfound power have to do with all of this?
