Author Information

Virginia (Ginny) has always loved writing, starting with a pencil and a Big Chief tablet when she was in grade school. Her writing career includes poems, dramas for children, puppet skits, songs and now children's fiction. Together with her husband, Bob, they organized and directed a children's ministry group called Sounds of Sonshine. The group performed in churches and schools throughout the Midwest US using materials written by Virginia. Born and raised in York, Nebraska, Virginia is a graduate of Concordia Teacher's College, now Concordia University, in Seward, Nebraska. She taught in elementary classrooms in Christian schools for over thirty years before retiring to become the school librarian at Christian Outreach School in Hillsboro, Missouri. She and her husband, Bob, have four married children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Ginny also enjoys reading, cross stitch, music and nature, especially bird watching.
