Each page of this book invites one to be drawn into the rich detail of each character, superb background of a medieval King and Queen, wonderful colorful castles, descriptive language of Gaelic and Celtic words, spellbinding mysteries, and the tales of knights of old. This book conveys a developing romance novel with a story between good and evil, faithfulness opposed to deceit, truth over fear, compassion verses insensitivity, and victory over reprehensible acts. Each page give tips to solving the mystery of the lost daughter of the King. Every time I laid down the book I anxiously looked forward to reading the next page to discover the twist in events, or results in a rescue of the daughter from those who wanted to wrest away by sword the kingdom for material gain. Having read the last page I find myself eagerly awaiting the next installment of the trilogy and once again being immersed in the unfolding mystery of the King's Lost Daughter. It was very exciting, and many of the chapters left me wanting to read more. There are so many thrilling twists and turns, and I was enthralled by the story, savoring every paragraph. In the first few chapters, I quickly became hooked, and A.D. German quickly became one of my favorite authors.
