SYNOPSIS In the magical Land of Oz-where harmony between the kingdoms has endured for generations-a sudden catastrophe shatters the balance. Princess Ozma, the true ruler and heart of Oz, vanishes in a burst of impossible magic, leaving Glinda powerless to trace her. As emerald light dims and ancient spells falter, fear ripples across the land. Dorothy Gale returns to find the Emerald City in chaos and joins the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and young Button-Bright on a kingdom-wide search for answers. Meanwhile, in distant Jinxland, Trot and Cap'n Bill arrive by strange enchantment and discover a realm enslaved by the cruel King Krewl and the witch Blinkie. And across the sea in the peaceful island kingdom of Pingaree, Prince Inga witnesses his homeland invaded and his parents taken captive-setting him on a quest guided only by three legendary magic pearls and the unlikely help of King Rinkitink and his grumbling goat, Bilbil. Unbeknownst to them all, the threads of their journeys are being drawn together by a rising and terrible power: Ugu the Shoemaker, a once-insignificant craftsman who has stolen Glinda's tools, harnessed forbidden magic, and begun reshaping Oz in his own image. As storms gather and kingdoms fall, heroes from every corner of Oz must unite. Their paths converge toward a shifting tower of shadow, where Ozma's fate-and the fate of all four countries-hangs in the balance. Through courage, heart, wisdom, and the power of friendship, they must challenge a sorcerer who believes himself the rightful master of all Oz.
