Niels Beerepoot is assistant professor at the Department of Geography, Planning and International Development Studies of the University of Amsterdam. Robert C. Kloosterman is Professor of Economic Geography and Planning at the Amsterdam Institute of Social Science Research (AISSR), University of Amsterdam.
