Overview

The reclusive Master Igbaka shows determination and grit in a not too glamorous world. Every time his leaden courage would hurt someone, he did so with only two stunners in mind: one, his very unusual LOVE; two, the ghostly presence of a puzzle still lighting the quivers of his heart. Shortly before assuming the identity of Master Igbaka, Corper Samuel Le-Grand was deployed to serve in a village far into the interiors of rural Nigeria. His dare-devil ideologies of honesty, tenacity and zeal would earn him the patronage of the business-minded people of Umulokpa, as well as the ire of a fair number of his Colleagues living with him at the Corpers' lodge in Akiyi. Not discouraged by the gap in human relations and misunderstanding his leadership policies created, master Igbaka would persist in the duties of upholding fairness over foul play, even in the face of public outcry or impending crisis. Although Master Igbaka couldn't quite be tripped by the ghost of worries over community-wide approvals or appraisals; yet, he was very much concerned with the state of his friendship with Chike, whom he left almost abruptly-with little or no means of sustenance or assurance of his financial stability and wellbeing in his absence. This would lead him to question the gravity of all his achievements during his service year; and would bring him back to the community three years after, in search of nothing but the truth.
