Overview

What if I told you there was a universe parallel to our own where mythological creatures and gods exist but all their extraordinariness can be explained by science. In this cosmos exists a planet much like our own where even all the current history of human exitance is mirrored. The homo sapiens of this world though lived without realizing just how close they were to these other beings which coexisted alongside them. And for their part these otherworldly presences tended to stay away from humans as they still remembered the old wars fought before people thought to write down their own history. This story though is about one young human woman named Cynthia Benson and how she came to be one of the most important yet secret figures to this world's continuation. Her journey all begins with a single meeting at a party; where she meets Elias Weisenfeld a creature who also happens to be the local town millionaire and they begin to step into a tumultuous whirlwind romance together. The two are forced to live with one another by the actions of Cynthia's abusive mother Karen whom the young woman had to regularly escape from. In fact she had only survived the older woman's torturous tactics thanks to her friends who weren't even from her town. Instead they were from a nearby reserve called Black Moose and she first met them at a gas station on the outskirts of town. Cynthia had practically crawled there at the age of ten just after her father's death to try and get herself some food. From this first meeting Cynthia had had been introduced not only to the owner of the gas station but also his two sons the younger of whom became her first friend in a long time. Eventually the reserve of Black Moose became a sort of home to her as she worked to get away from her mother.Cynthia would have moved to the reserve but the physical conditions there hindered this from happening. This meant that for all her years at school she was constantly bullied due to her mother's reputation in the town. All of this though is turned upside down after Cynthia meets Elias and she begins to be drawn into a new world that she believed only she could see. This book is currently part of the Indie Author Project in the U.S and Canada.
