This is the only fictional novel conspired by Derek after he retired in the belief that everyone has at least one book within them eager to escape the confines of the author to be shared by others. He has also published 'Don't be a Dummy at Bridge' a book based on an introduction to the card game of the same name and has compiled an unpublished book of his poetry some of which can be found in 'Light of the World' and other publications.
