Her research primarily centers on global health, the healthcare industry, the digital economy, and online learning. She has authored scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals, Springer, and Sage in healthcare, technology and services, and online education. Dr. Son has also worked as a strategic management consultant for Medical Tactile Imaging, Inc. Additionally, she co-founded the International Association Management Group and held the position of vice president. Furthermore, she has served as a site reviewer for business degrees and online programs on behalf of the California Bureau for Private Post-Secondary and Vocational Education.
