Author Information

Carmen Ferreiro-Esteban was born in Galicia (northern Spain) and went to college in Madrid, where she finished her Ph.D. in Biology. She worked as a researcher in Spain and California, before moving to Pennsylvania, where she now works as a writer, editor and translator. To write her first novel, Two Moon Princess, she drew from the mysterious beauty of Galicia and the tumultuous history of Spain to tell the story of Andrea, a discontented medieval princess, who lives in a mythical world in which the medieval kingdoms of Spain are still fighting each other, a world of warrior kings in which girls are not supposed to speak their minds. The King in the Stone follows Andrea's story back in time to early medieval Spain. She is also the author of Immortal Love, a paranormal romance, (Crimson Romance, 2012) that follows the author's adventures in search of a literary agent in a contemporary alternate world where the late Spanish poets Gustavo Adolfo Becquer and Federico Garcia Lorca are immortals. Immortal Love is available in Spanish as Becquer eterno.
