Author Information

Kara has mixed her love of nature and her love of writing in her children's stories. Her messages are of positivity, inclusion, and the love of the environment. She wants to share these messages with her young readers, so they will grow up caring for the environment and each other too. Kara lives in Northern California with her husband, daughter and their dog. When Kara is not writing her next favorite activity is being in nature - gardening, mediating, walking, she loves it all. Rhiannon Thomas lives and works from her home on the edge of the Gower Peninsula in Wales. Inspired by nature and the ever changing colours of the coast, Rhiannon often creates dramatic canvas pieces for galleries across the UK and incorporates the landscape by creating pigments from natural items. In addition to this, Rhiannon is also a children's book illustrator with over 12 years experience. She aspires to create vivid and playful scenes with her watercolour and ink palette, bringing the characters of each book to life. When she's not painting, Rhiannon spends her time running wellbeing retreats and creative workshops. She is often found walking in the Welsh mountains, doing yoga or sea swimming.
