T.R. Grady has kept tropical fish for over 50 years and at least 40 of those years has been involved with Killifish. Currently he maintains over 100 aquariums in which he breeds and raises numerous species. He has been an active member of the American Killifish Association and served on the Board of Trustees and has held numerous committee chairmanships. He has also been the compiler of the AKA's Business Newsletter and maintained the AKA website. He has chaired five national conventions and numerous regional shows. He regularly attends tropical fish shows around the country. He is happily married and enjoys time with his wife, Phyllis and their spoiled child, Jed the Jack Russell terrier. They travel on a regular basis.
