She studied International Studies at the University of Athens but discovered her passion for the arts, earning a bachelor's degree in Ballet and Contemporary Dance. Joanna worked as a professional dancer in various theater productions before opening her own dance school. Her love for sharing the values of theater and life inspired her to write her first play. She later published it as a children's book, followed by two more.
