OverviewPrior to WWII, a nazi couple of archaeologists discovers in the ruins of the ancient city of Hatra in Iraq a clay tablet with an imprint of a golden cylinder from the time of Jesus Christ, forbidden to be opened under a heavy curse. Alternatively, the whole people of Israel could be destroyed. Present day, in the Templar's city of Tomar, in Portugal, the Israeli archaeologist Dr. Malka Sheetrit discovers a tomb of a Muslim Templar knight, the remains of a local saint, and a secret chamber where artifacts from Holy Land were hidden. Following a letter from the 15th century mentioning that the cylinder was sent to Amsterdam, Malka travel to the Dutch city where together with her husband Avner, a former Mossad agent, discover another letter attesting that the golden cylinder has been shipped to Curacao. They go through dangerous events, escape two robbery attempts and a major terrorist operation, and traveled to Curaçao. In Curaçao, they are followed by a neo-Nazi professor and his henchmen, who cannot find the golden cylinder, but neither can Malka and Avner. Learning from old documents that the cylinder was sent to Suriname, Malka and Avner travel to Suriname where after many adventures they find the cylinder. Now, will Malka open the cylinder or not? It is for you to find out reading the book. Alternating chapters of enchanting stories timed in XI, XV, and XVI centuries will help you navigate among the real events of North Africa, Portugal, Curaçao, and Suriname's rich history.
