She is currently a lecturer at Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology and has also lectured on Art and Design History at Griffith College Dublin and Limerick Institute of Technology. She is the author of An Illustrated Dictionary of Furniture and Interiors (Stobart Davies, 2014) and a number of academic papers.
